Todays run - 5 miles in 50.26
Tonights run of 5 miles is the longest I have done since I had that little problem with my calf back in the last week of April. Before this I was completing this route in about 49 mins and change.
Tonight as I set off I was mindful of how bad I felt on Fridays run and made a conscious effort to slow down a little bit, this would also help me as I now try to lengthen my distances in readiness for the half marathon distance.
The run went well and I felt ok and in the end was only a minute slower than my last 5 miler.
Only thing of note was a double hard cat that just sat in the middle of the path and did not move as I ran past it !
Day 8 of juneathon and I'm getting fitter.
